Differences from the PC Version

There are several aspects of the user interface that have been changed in order to optimize use for the smartphone. Consequently there are some functions on the smartphone that will behave differently than on the PC and some functions that have been removed.

Editor Screen Functions

The Editor

The text decoration button has been omitted from the entry editor for the smartphone. However, it is still possible to set text decoration options by inputting the necessary HTML code directly as opposed to setting it through WYSIWYG mode.

iOS5 and earlier only allows previously uploaded images and items to be inserted. Android users are able to directly upload and insert images and files.

?It is possible to directly upload and insert images and items from iOS6 and higher.

Field Display Options

All Keyword, Tag, and Excerpt custom field settings are carried over from the PC settings. As field display changes can not be made directly on the smartphone, any necessary settings modifications need to be made from the PC editor.

Field Sorting Options

The order in which available fields are listed is carried over from the PC settings. As field order cannot be changed directly on the smartphone, any necessary settings modifications need to be made from the PC editor.

Trackback

Trackback options cannot be managed from the smartphone editor.
