Directory Structure of Movable Type AMI Edition

Movable Type AMI Edition has a special directory structure to provide Movable Type and related modules as a package and is easy to update.

Customization under the /app directory is not eligible for technical support.

    /app/aws … Perl handler for Dynamic Publishing with nginx
    /app/initial … Initialization files
    /app/local … Movable Type and related libraries
    /app/movabletype .. Movable Type itself
    /app/run … Process information files
    /app/tools … Utility tools of Movable Type AMI Edition

/data … User contents, configuration files, plugins
    /data/conf … Configuration files of Movable Type and httpd/nginx
    /data/database … Database file of MariaDB
    /data/file … User contents and plugins
            /data/file/alt-tmpl … Alternate template of control panel
            /data/file/cgi-bin … User CGI (Apache httpd only)
            /data/file/import … Import files into Movable Type 
            /data/file/plugins … Movable Type Plugins
            /data/file/static … Document Root
