This is documentation about a configuration directive, which can be placed within Movable Type’s core configuration file, mt-config.cgi, to customize the behavior of the system.

Sets the name for the cookie generated during a logged in commenter’s session.

Allowed Values

Any sequence of ASCII characters excluding semicolons, commas, equal signs and white space.

Default

• mt_blog_user when SingleCommunity 1 is set
• mt_blog%b_user when SingleCommunity 0 is set, where %b is the website or blog ID
