This is documentation about a configuration directive, which can be placed within Movable Type’s core configuration file, mt-config.cgi, to customize the behavior of the system.

Controls whether revision history is enabled on the system level.

To disable revision history:

TrackRevisions 0

Even if a user attempts to enable history management through website or blog settings, history management will remain disabled.
