RequireUpgradePermission
This is documentation about a configuration directive, which can be placed within Movable Type’s core configuration file, mt-config.cgi, to customize the behavior of the system.
This configuration directive is a setting for backward compatibility. Normally, only users with administrator privileges can perform upgrades. If you expect the behavior of past versions regarding the privileges required to perform upgrades, set this to 0.
Note: This directive is available in Movable Type version 8.0.11, 8.8.4, 9.0.8, 9.2.0 and later.
