This is documentation about a configuration directive, which can be placed within Movable Type’s core configuration file, mt-config.cgi, to customize the behavior of the system.

Deprecated: This configuration directive was used in MovBovable Type 4.x, but was deprecated in Movable Type 5.x.

The URL to which the update ping is sent when blog owners have chosen “Google” as a target for recently updated pings.

Values

Absolute URL. Default value is:

GooglePingURL http://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2

Example

Change to another URL:
