With Movable Type installed, it is time to what it perhaps the single most important thing you and other users will do in Movable Type: create content.

To create your first blog post, or "entry" select "Entry" from the Create menu. From there you can start entering the content for your first ever Movable Type blog post. If the rich text editor is not selected by default for whatever reason then select "Rich Text" from the pull down menu labeled "Format." The rich text editor will allow you to see your text as it will appear on your blog in a classic WYSIWYG (or What You See Is What You Get) editor.

Set your Publishing Status to "published" and click save. Your blog has been born.
