We have released Movable Type 9.0.5 and Movable Type 8.8.1 as of October 24, 2025.
These releases address several issues found in versions 9.0.4 and 8.8.0.
Resolved Issues
These new versions include the following fixes:
- Fixed an issue where an error occurred when saving ContentData using an Embedded Text Field.
- Fixed an issue on Edit Entry screen where switching the format from Rich Text to another format and back to Rich Text caused the Main Text and Extended Text input fields to be created above the original editor.
- Fixed an issue where modal windows would not display when using full-screen mode in the Rich Text editor.
- Fixed an issue where the incorrect MT version was displayed in the footer on screens using the Rich Text editor.
