Movable Type 6.1 released

We are happy to announce Movable Type 6.1.

In the Movable Type 6.1, we have been not only resolving many cases that submitted by our engineers as well as many of our valued community members, but also implementing some new features like a Data API 2.0.

New Feature: Data API 2.0

The new Data API is possible to make a flexible representations in a website. Of course, by collaborate with other platforms or web services, it will realize the content management that is not limited to the web.

Also, new Data API is available to create, update, retrieve and delete almost objects. For example, you can now create a new user or website by the Data API. It is possible to realize that of almost the same as the operation of the web interface of Movable Type by the Data API.

The time has come to make all these improvements available to you. Let’s play with the new Data API!
