Where the heck is the documentation on this? The first question I’m asked as I install it is Classic Website or Professional Website. I have no idea which to choose being that I don’t know what features or bloat I may be choosing or losing based on my selection.

What’s the difference?

2oh1 - we’re working on the docs specific to MT5, but there is not a doc on this yet.

As for the difference.. this is only for choosing a template set to start with. You can delete all these templates if you want and write your own. Create a website with each set and tinker around with the differences.

You are not stuck with a template set once you choose it. If you want two replace your existing templates with a set from off the shelf, go to Design > Templates and select the action to “Refresh Templates” and follow the steps to switch to a different template set.

Thanks for asking this question, I’ll be sure to make sure it’s answered in the MT5 docs.

I noticed that SQLite and Postgresql support have been removed. Can someone explain why? Is that a permanent change? Will SQLite and Postgresql support come back with the release of MT5?

I personally use SQLite and I’m quite happy with it. I would like to see it brought back for MT5.

Great work Beau. I love MT5 and I find it much better than Wordpress and Joomla.

I haven’t found a bug or something like that, but I just read an article for an online meeting you have done to present MT5. I can’t comment there, and this is why I am going to post my question here. So, my question is when do you plan to do another thing like that?

The first question is asked again. Do we have MT 5 docs already and where are they, because I am sure we have them.

Should I post about bugs here in the comments or I should do it on the special page for it on Moveable Type or I should do it on FogBugz?

I see Moveable Type has cooperated with FogBugz and now when I try to see more information about a bug you have fixed I am redirected to a page of theirs. They ask me for a FogBugz ticket, but when I wrote there the number of the bug it showed me nothing. So now it is impossible to see details for some kind of bug and to see it is duplicated or not.

It’s annoying even for rookie like me. All bugs links lead to the main page of FogBugz. I can’t see anything more specific about a particular bug.

What was the point to change the name of the tag from WebsiteLabel to WebsiteName. I haven’t access to FogBugz and can not see anything from the link.

Professional Website Theme is my favorite one. I use it many of my blogs. Very clean and professional looking theme.

The Professional website theme is my favorite ones. I started my first blog with Movable Type in the same period when Movable Type 5 was released and I started right away with this theme which I haven’t changed so far. It is great and clean theme which could be used for different sites.
