Did you notice that Action Streams and Community Action Streams plugins have been updated ? Now they work both with Movable Type 5 and Movable Type 4.
Action Streams plugin collects your actions on third party web services into your Movable Type web sites. Using it, you can easily aggregate your contents from various services such as Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, and also you can write your own recipe to pull the data from millions of websites.
Please download the latest version from Six Apart's GitHub repositry,

Silly question - what’s the difference between ‘Action Streams’ and ‘Community Action Streams’?

Hello salguod,
“Community Action Streams” is the extension plugin of the “Action Streams”. It will add following events to the Action Streams plugin.
You can use “Action Streams” without “Community Action Streams” if you don’t need these MT events.

Hi, how can I connect Action Streams with my Facebook account and the opposite - what I write on my blog to appear on my Facebook wall? Thank you in advance.

That’s a great plugin, being able to get all the data from social sites is gonna be cool.

Hi Robert, you can not use this plugin to post content on Facebook. For doing that you can have a Facebook aplication which will do the job. On first hand I recall Networked blogs. It will do the job.

Community Action Streams is one my favorites plugins. By it I easy share YouTube videos not just from my stream, but also from the my likes stream. It needs just a bit coding to modify it and it would become a real content monster.

It’s really useful. I have a table tennis web page where I use Movable Type as CMS. Of course, youtube videos is the most used source of content for me, because I have to provide video from table tennis matches. I do it quite easily with this plugin.
