We are currently using MTOS for our online journal. We would like to upgrade to MTOS 5.2.9. Can you please tell me where to download the installation files, and where to get the upgrade instructions?

The MTOS packages can be downloaded from this archive. Versions 5.2.7, 5.2.8 and 5.2.9 are now available there as well.
If you are upgrading from a version prior to 5.13, you may need to apply changes explained in “Upgrading to Movable Type 5.13, 5.07, or 4.38”. Otherwise the instructions at “Upgrade Guide for Movable Type” are what you need.
