When you create a new blog, it is fully ready for use in publishing new entries. However, there are a number of optional configuration settings you may wish to customize to your liking. These settings control everything from how archives are handled to who may comment on entries and what happens to their comments afterwards to what fields should appear on the new entry screen.
To edit a blog's settings, visit Preferences > Blog Settings.
